    What's My Next Kilt?

So all the talk of multiple kilts is getting me thinking of what my next will be (The, Universal Question). One Craig 8 yd, 16 oz worsted wool, and soon to arrive Scots American 8 yd, 16 oz worsted wool.

So the question is...WHAT DO I GET NEXT!!!
The Scottish National looks nice. I am also related to the Gordon family. Maybe a lighter wool but i have found out the slightest breeze keeps me cooled off just fine, even in Texas.
Reply to me your finest ideas and post a photo of the kilt or tartan if possible. It would be a nice data base for future purchases.

    Thenk ye.

Well with 2 8-yarders, and since you are in a hot area, I would suggest something a litle lighter. Check out these two:

Scottish National heabyweight from eBay seller emeraldtartans:

    Cloes up:

Or maybe the heavyweight weathered Lamont from SWK:

Your choice, and both are moderately priced, only 4 yards, and 13oz wool.

I might be a bit partial, but a nice mid-weight azure blue would be nice. Also known as FOS blue. Mmmmmmmm blue.

Not sure if you meant me or someone else? For the colour, check the site in my signature, in the gent's section. That'll show you the colour. Also known as Flower of Scotland Blue.

    Yes, I'm a kilt whore.

    Good Choice mrpharr,

I got my weathered Gordon from The Celtic Croft (top right of the page here). I got lucky, they had one made up in the wrong size for someone else they had on sale. As luck would have it, was my size.

    13 oz Lochcarron, a beauty.

Gordon's a strong clan for me too.

More pics in my gallery if it helps.

Don't mean to show you my back side, but dang, so may kilt pics are of the apron when what we all wanna see is the quality of the pleat work.

I have always been very partial towards the Scottish National it was the first kilt I every made and I wore to Scotland to a wedding (despartly trying to get the pic of me at Loch Lommand) and it just so happens to be in stock at Canadian Casual Kilts I know the kiltmaker. Maybe I can put in a good word for you.
