    I suppose I'll chime in:

If I discount the ones I don't wear anymore, because I don't like them...

I've got one plaid one (seen here).

I've got one camouflage one (also seen at the link above).

I've got one Solid Black SWK that I bought too small (I'm losing weight, though, in hopes of getting into it).

More to come... I have a wish list on my PDA that burns up 2MB of space by itself!

What a variety of joy kilts provide us.

Looking at Ham's list of 59 kilts and my list of a mere 36 we only have five kilts in common. X Marks the Scot, which of course everyone needs one of for their basic kilt wardrobe, and four Utilikilts, which are like Scottish jeans.

All our other contemporary, tartan, leather kilts are different. Is this a great addiction or what!?

Just when I was getting to the state of having quite a few kilts to chose from the weather has warmed up considerably.

(would anyone with a bit of spare land please go out and plant a couple of trees, please please, or spread white sand on your tarmac.)

In addition I have lost more of my waistline - so I have to make the cooler, lightweight kilts I do have, smaller - and I am back to having just one well fitting comfortable kilt and all the rest on the table awaiting reduction, again.

I'm now a 38 inch waist, down from 50 inches in Jan 2005. Wooohooo!!

Maybe in a few years I will be able to finally make permanent waistbands and hang up my kilts all ready to wear, just sorted by their weight and warmth.

Green with envy!!! Where do you get the money for all those kilts??? My money only is enough for selfmade kilts:

    1 black wool
2 in thin black wool with very light stripes in grey(one knife, one box pleated)
    1 green boxpleated
    1 black jeans cloth
    1 11oz warrior tartan (PV)

    coming
    1 boxpleated Ben Dubh tartan
1 knife pleated Campbell of Cawdor
The tartan will come from Marton Mills, I hope to finisch both kilts by the end of June.

One black KingKilt I threw away, It was my only bought one and it was unwearable!

Rob, I so want to see the kilt itself! Unfortunately, I just heard that the skins have not yet been received from the supplier, so it looks like I'll not be getting this kilt for another three or four weeks.

Similarly, Rocky informs me that he is still awaiting delivery of the Ireland's National fabric from Marton Mills, so there's going to be a delay in delivery of my first 'USA Kilt'.

    These are sad times indeed!
