    I'll admit that the shoes were shiny mainly because it was the first time I had worn them.

    The jacket is a Brian Baru jacket, an Irish styled formal jacket. I just liked the cut of it a little better than the Prince Charlie.

    I liked the sporran as well, except when I sat down. The stiff formal sporrans are very uncomfortable at the dinner table. I finally slid it to the side while I was eating.

    The sporran should be swung to the side for anything like sitting down, running, dancing, et cetera.
