I had someone take a couple of pictures on a trip I had on The Telemark canal

This is me at the days last lock

I'm wearing my 8 Yard Bear kilt in Hunting MacLean

This is another pic of me at the shore line of the hotel. Notice the SNOW still on the Mountains . It was windy and very cold

In the summer of 1980, I spent three weeks touring the canals of England and cranked many a windlass. Great photos - thanks for reviving a memory!

To be honest Hamish It must be genes. My father looked the same from the age of 50 until the day he past on 75 years old.

I was in a fair amount of pain during the day as I'm waiting for the Doc's to decide if they are going to operate on my back or not...Still I had a nice time.

The first people I met at the hotel were a group of O.A.P's over from Aberdeen on their holidays. Several of the men said they wish they had their kilts with them. The people that I was with (The company I work for ) are all used to my kilted ways by now. Lots of fun
