I did get off at each stop - St. George, Hamilton, and King's Wharf. I specifically wanted to walk around St. George because it is a World Heritage site. King's Wharf was also interesting, but Hamilton didn't do much for me. It was raining the day at Hamilton, but I walked around a little anyway, but shopping doesn't interest me much.

Are both kilts and Bermuda shorts accepted men's dress in Bermuda?

The only kilt I saw the entire trip was my own. I did see several people in the Bermuda shorts while in Bermuda.

I lived there for 30-odd (yes -very odd) years...

only time i ever saw kilts where on pipers during military parades...

Bermuda shorts are the norm in business environments in the summer time
