I guess there is another tartan on my wanted-list: Gretna FC
Arsenal? You must be salivating this week! I certainly hope they win on Wednesday. The match is being shown at 2PM in the States and I'll be in front of the TV. (there aren't a huge number of soccer fans in the states)
Still can't wait to see what the US can do in the World Cup. We got a tough draw but I think they still have a chance to go to the second round.

All of this reminds me of "Mystery, Alaska" or "A Shot at Glory"!
I may be a Jambo supporter, but Gretna has now become my No. 2 favourite team!
Cheers,

What did you think of Robert Duvall in "A Shot at Glory"? I've heard mixed reviews from the expats about his accent.
And, did you like "Mystery"?

Duvall's accent wuz quite guid- the problem wuz thot he seemed tae work sae hard oan the accent thot his actin was a bit flat.... it seemed like he was 'tryin tae soond Scottish" aw the wa' through.... still a guid film though...

Shot of Glory was a fun flick. I'll have to rent that one again.
I do wonder if a team with actually playoff potential had been used in Mystery, Alaska if it would have been more of a one sided game. (yes I am still bitter about New York beating Vancouver in game 7 in 1994)
