There's one exciting bit I forgot to mention...well, it's exciting to me at least:
The Fitzsimmons material (and kilt) I have on order from Edgar (due 7/21/06) will contain the same dark green, light brown, dark brown and black that you see here in the County Cavan kilt. After seeing these in person now rather than looking at the tartan/yarn samples I have, I really can't wait 'til my other kilt gets here...it's going to be absolutely beautiful!

Hey MacSimoin
We both ordered Cavan county 5 yard kilts from Tartankilts on the same day - and they were both delivered on the same day - unfortunately, I was not home - so I won't see mine till Monday. After seeing your photos - I can't wait!

A fine looking kilt! I have nothing but great things to say about the quality and workmanship on my Laois from House of Edgar. That is a fantastic tartan.
As for the Down kilt, that is also a stunning tartan. Time to start shopping again! (Don't let the wife know I said that!)

The Co Cavan is a good looking tartan, and that was a quick turnaround Mac Sim! It's good a good drape to it by the looks, well done.
