I agree, that pic shows how to do it wrong, but I think shirt length plays a role as well. I often do not tuck my shirt in, and I don't think it looks bad. I will snap a photo next time I do so, and I will let you make the decision if it looks okay or not.

The t-shirt is tucked in, the Hawaiian shirt is untucked. With UK tan Mocker.
