Great looking Kilt. Like the red/black combination.
What is the pattern and where did you get it, if I may please ask?
    First of many, I'm sure.

Looks great! Jackson, MI huh? I'm from South Bend just a short hop away and I haven't worn it there yet. Will be when I get home from Turkey. Good to hear that the area is k-friendly!

Pattern is Black Stewart, kilt is a semi-traditional from USAKilts.

timber, nice looking. Is there any blue in that tartan? I usually try to wear a shirt that matches a color in the kilt, but you look good and I don't think that there is any blue in the Black Stewart. Hmmh, might have to try some different options.

There is some blue in the Black Stewart. It forms a smaller square within the black block, if you will. You can see them in the original post if you look close enough.

I was just doing the usual things I do on a Saturday afternoon. I have been jonesing for a kilt for such a long time that it already seemed normal to wear it out on my errands. I did go to a few pubs later that night, the kilt was well received.
One place was pretty crowded, the only place to sit was a large table. A group of people came in after me and asked to join me, and of course I said yes. About an hour later I got up to head out and one attractive blonde shouted "Oh my god that's a kilt!" and was immediately interested in what was underneath. The perfect end for the first night out!
