Easy....order more kilts! Or the kilt pin for it...or more "stuff"
The secret to surviving jonesing is to have stuff coming in regular....

Uhmm...Jonesing is bad, but not jonesing (nothing in the pipeline) is worse, so enjoy the torture

Log on to XMarks, pour dram of single malt. Drool over the latest pics.
Pour second dram, search for tartan you want your next kilt to be
Pour third dram try to decide where to order next kilt from
Pour fourth dram and try to decide if yuo want a kilt from chosen supplier because they do not have the tartan you want, check their clearance specials and realize you really don't know what you want
Pour fifth dram and pick out accessories, one can never have enough accessories, just ask Hamish
Pour sixth dram, and decide to order a daywear jacket as well
Pour seventh dram finally you have everything picked out
Pour eighth dram and check financial status
Pour ninth dram and shed tears that finances are not available
Next day start all over.

not jonesing...I think that is defined as the feeling you had before you discovered kilts. Once the kilted "jonesing" begins, there is no time during which you are not either "jonesing" for something you ordered, or "jonesing" for something to order.
Is there anyone here who has actually had a period of time after they discovered kilts that they were not "jonesing"?

Rob
you forgot the following steps:
after each pour:
check single malt bottle. if less than 1/4 full, go to single malt store to buy backup.
last steps:
pour last dram. Check how finances would be if wife didn't know. Order said stuff with sheepish grin.
Spend next week coming home early from work to get package before she gets home.
Wear new kit. get new bottle o' single malt in new kit.
pour victory dram.
post pics of new kit on Xmarks.
pour second victory dram.
avoid rolling pin from wife by explaining that you found an incredible deal.
pour third victory dram.
take wife to nice dinner in new kit.
<use imagination from here...with a dram or two>
begin process again.

How many drams?!
Gawd, if I drank as many drams of whiskey as Kilted KT and Rob suggest, ... well, actually, I'd never make it - I think I'd pass out after about the 4th straight shot of whiskey!
Right now, I'm jonesing for my hired kilt from "all things tartan" here in Queensland... and I'm keeping a close eye on the SWK site, 'cause Jerry said he'd make me a Wallace tartan in the Standard weight cloth for only $25 more than the normal cost!
.... I just have to rationalise the cost once the exchange rate has been taken into consideration!!
cheers!
