I just found two web sites with sporrans to kilt for. I wrote them and said their sporrans were so great looking it would make any man want to wear a kilt just to have an excuse to have one. leathersporran.co.uk and caledonian creations Very cool, not so conventional or traditional.
Truly some very good leather work on the sporrans. Just added that web site to my favorites.
I'll agree with you Eric - they are lovely sporrans. Although, I gotta say - and this is no criticism of you, Eric - but their prices on those sporrans leaves a bit to be desired! Their cheap sporrans are around 45UK pounds... that's about $100 AUD! As an amateur leatherworker, I can see that once my thesis is done at the end of this year, I'm going to have to start making my own sporrans! Now....if I can just get a closer look at the interior and closures. ;) cheers Hachiman
