The conversation was about color, not style. I believe the context was that you were answering my comment about prefering blacks and browns as a color scheme, rather than the bright modern colors so often seen.

This was back when I had just discovered UKs, and was trying to figure out how to "dress it up;" I hadn't yet accepted the posibility of wearing a tartan because of the aformentioned preference. I still feel that way; the only tartans I have are the Nightstalker and the Weathered Lamont, but I'm thinking about others.
