I believe the things in his left sock are hair straighteners.
Aw Craig, I wish I could quit you. Now I have to go see that movie.

Yeah, he was pretty good on that. Though I don't watch him much on the Late Late show, it's just too late

I'm an insomniac. I see parts of his show fairly often. Funny guy.
Didn't see the Academy of Country Music Awards, though. I was wasting a lot of KiltedCodeWarrior's time, trying to figure out a computer problem.

Whats wrong with the cowboy look? I wore a black with white piping classic cowboy shirt, straw cowboy hat and my blackwatch kilt to the rodeo dance last year. I got lots of compliments. I think I saw a pic somewhere, trying to track it down.

Several of my daughter's friends have been asking me if I saw "the guy in the kilt and the cowboy hat" on TV the other night...I didn't (...oh, look...ANOTHER Country Music awards show.....) but they seemed enthused.
And can no one find a photo from this event? I've been googling it and nothing has turned up. Perhaps Craig can be persuaded to log onto Xmarks and post one himself?

...and I see by the Chicago Tribune that Craig Ferguson is doing his stand-up act at the Zanies comedy clubs near Chicago...unfortunately for me, not the one that is actually IN Chicago (that one I can get to conveniently) but he two in the suburbs.
I'd love to get a chance to see him perform if only to find out if he's easier to understand than Billy Connolly.

AA, where did you see that? Which day's paper? When is he going to be here and which Zanies?

Friday's Chicago Trib. Zanies St. Charles on Friday night and Zanies Vernon Hills on Saturday.
You're a bit closer to either of them, I guess...for me it would be a major expedition so I'll wait until he plays the one in Old Town in Chicago.

You could establish that fact by taping/tivoing CBS or staying up late. He's on Monday-Friday, right after David Letterman. 12:35 a.m. here. Probably an hour earlier for you.
My own take is that he's easier to understand than Billy Connolly, but not quite as funny.

These thumbnails are from http://www.wireimage.com/, but a subscription is needed to get the full-sized versions.
