The first few times I went to the mall, my daughter liked to tag along about 10 feet away so she could watch the reactions. People are funny... most seem to try hard not to show any interest. But for a few, the sideways and over the shoulder glances are too hard to resist.
I don't wear the kilt as much as I did, but it's still fun to mall crawl or Wal*Mart. It's clientele are typically such an eclectic bunch, that the kilt gets little reaction at all.

I love wearing my kilt at our local Wal-Mart, more than once someone was so shocked that they walked right into a dispaly knocking it over. Our Wal-Mart does not hae an eclectic clientele, cowboys and airforce personell are the majority of who one finds there.
