Welcome aboard. My maternal grandmother was of 100% German lineage, with all four of her grandparents having come from Germany in the mid-1800's.

    Moose,

Welcome from Sunny California. I'm glad I'm not the only one to sweep a wineglass off a coffee table with my kilt. Who knew there was a dark side to the "swish factor". Welcome aboard!

    Cheers

    Greetings from Chicago!

The last guy called "Moose" that I knew took up two bar stools...that would have been one BIG kilt.

Hey...I'm still trying to get the "sweep" right so I'm not creasing the pleats while I'm sitting...my family's tired of my asking "how are my pleats?" all ready!

Welcome Moose, from another part of Germany.

I don't think of myself as an ex-pat, but we've spent the better part of the last 21 years in the Oberpfalz region of north Bayern.

I haven't been a member of this forum for long, but there is a wealth of information, humor, and fellowship here.

One thing most of us like to see is pictures of others in kilts, probably because it lets us look at tartans or accessories before we buy them for ourselves. If you have questions, there are plenty of advisors here.

    Auf Wiedersehen,

    Tom
