Good resurrection Moose! I love reading about the different opinions and experiences of other Xmarkers.

1. For overall quality and cost, who is your preferred kiltmaker or kilt retailer? (Please list only one, i.e. a favorite)
No personaly experience, but I love the look of Matt Newsome's kilts. The next one I buy (my first wool) will be one of Matt's box pleated kilts.

2. Which is your personal preference, a tartan or solid color kilt?
Tartan

3. If you wear clan, family or district tartans, which tartan do you wear most often?
Scottish national

4. Do you prefer woolen kilts or kilts made from alternative materials (cotton, etc)?
Don't own any wool yet, so. . .

5. On a weekly basis, how often do you wear a kilt?
About 4 nights a week, and once a day on the weekend.

No

3 casual tartan (scottish national, royal stewart, macdonald)

8. At what age did you first wear a kilt?
28

No
