Tartan. I am a purist at heart, but I do have a BK canvas solid for games that I like a lot.

MacQueen (11 oz, semi trad) or New York City (13 oz, 4 yard)

4. Do you prefer woollen kilts or kilts made from alternative materials (cotton, etc)?

Wool for dress, PV or acrylic for games field (where one is not obligated to go regimental and wind blows aren't a concern.)

once or twice during the day, frequently at night / weekends

On occasion.
