Still acquiring kilts from various makers, FK next so no preference yet

Tartan

Though I'm a Taylor descendent I enjoy my Anderson and wear it the most.
4. Do you prefer woollen kilts or kilts made from alternative materials (cotton, etc)?
No preference
5. On a weekly basis, how often do you wear a kilt?
usually about once, twice or more on a good week

Nope.

ten but I have materials for seven more

37 - late bloomer

no but my friends are catching on

I'll marry in my Taylor tank, my best man will wear a tartan vest (likely California) since "Mr. Skinny legs" won't don a kilt ...

4. Lightweight polycotton is more comfortable but I also wear wool kilts and an acrylic one. I feel more confident in a wool heavyweight.

6. Yes. Wore black kilt to work today and planning on doing so again tomorrow.

1 - I don't have a favorite. I buy what I like.
2 - I like solid colour cilts the best, mainly camo.
3 - I only have two tartan cilts, a Nightstalker SWK and a Shamrock from USAK. I mostly wear my Nightstalker.
4 - I don't have a wool cilt so I can't answer that.
5 - Almost everyday.
6 - If you count "a stay at home Dad" a job ('cause I do) than yes I do wear a cilt to work.
7 - 5, hopefully 6 by my birthday. (1 plain black, 2 camo, 2 tartan).
8 - 24.
9 - My Dad has 1 cilt, but only wears it around the house.
10 - I got married on All Hallows Eve in '02, and didn't get my first cilt til '05. I would of loved to got married in a cilt.

I have only dealed with 4 shops before, but for the money, quality and delivery time, I would have to say Stillwater.

It is not an easy question to answer. But Tartan is going to edge out solid colour by a thread.

I have no personal preference; I am very happy with all the kiltmakers I've dealt with (Freedom Kilts, USAK, Stillwater, and a local maker).

I like tartan the best, but I probably wear solid just as much.

I wore the red Mackintosh at my first wedding in 1976, and the Hunting Mackintosh at my second (and last!) three years ago.
