I always wear a kilt to church, either a UK or tank. That includes when I'm singing, up on stage, as part of the Worship Team.

I've always gotten positive reinforcement for me wearing my kilts to church. Of course, our chuch was started by a bunch of Jesus Freaks back in the 70s, so non-traditional clothing, unusual hair styles or colors, tattoos, piercings, etc. are perfectly normal at our church. In fact, what would seem "weird" at our church is someone in a suit & tie! (Though, they'd be welcome, too!)

    A kilt? That's kool!

Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

I had a friend tell me a story over the weekend about his brother.

It was this man's first visit to an Orthodox Church. As he approached he saw three men, kilted, smoking, one with a patch over one eye, standing on the steps into the church.

His reaction? "What the heck am I doing?!?"

He did make it in, not only that local church, but eventually was Chrismated and received into the Orthodox Church.
