I wish I could be there to support you, if its any consolation I'll be there in spirit. I agree with the others here - the key is to present yourself in a sharp dressed (but not over-dressed) manor respectful to the occasion. I'm sure you'll bring honor to yourself and to all kilt wearers.

    Congraduations on your accomplishent!

This reminds me, was it Josh or another young guy who was going to prom and wanted to know what to wear, a kilt or a suit. What ever happened there?

If the kilt is on under your gown, so what. Nick did it and so have others. Nick's was a college graduation, but no one knew until after.

    DALE.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

    Graduation gowns

Academic gowns are simply the vestigial remnants of medieval clerical garb worn in the universities of Europe when all such institutions were run by the Catholic Church. What do you suppose all those priests, abbots, monks, and students wore under those robes, anyway?

    Yeah, that's what I thought.

Think what you like, it's just impolite to ask.

    Congratulations!
I'll be kilted at my daughters graduation this week.
