Well, I've got some weapons, but nothing distinctly celtic. I've got a rapier and a cutlass, as well as a few oriental weapons.

I may have to consider a claymore one day.

So far only 2 sgian dubhs (and a 3rd soon).

Although I like good blades, I don't see much use for them.

Maybe a vintage dirk some day, but since I think it's pretty silly to wear it with anything less as a doublet...it's on the bottom of my wish list (together with the doublet).

I like the Claymore and Basket-Hilt swords, but they'll lock me up (with reason) when I start walking around with this type of oversized cutlery I guess.

    Well, I've been a knife-collector a lot longer than a kilt-wearer, so:

    a 54" Claymore
    2 Celtic short swords (33' & 35")
    a Cold Steel Scottish Dirk
3 Sgain Dubhs (and coveting one of Rab's)

But, to put this into perspective, I have over 200 blades in the collection, including several rare specimens.

To anticipate the inevitable question, on a daily basis, I usually carry one small Case pocket knife: a Blackie Collins tri-fold.

And, for those who have commented on my massive kilt belt in other threads- I guess I could carry one of those swords at a moments notice…

If you need two claymores at a wedding they might ought to close the bar a bit earlier
