    Ron,

I have to say if you are going to wear a rainbow boa with your kilt you need to tie it in to the rest of the outfit. Perhaps some rainbow colored flashes... (actually when my wife and I went to the fabric store to get ribbon so she could make me flashes she suggested rainbow ones. I told her if we ever went to a pride event I'd be happy to wear them)

Sounds like you all had a great time.

    Cheers

Worst part about the rainbow boa was downtown when my lady and her daughter went shopping at Animas Trading an old hippie shop....she said, "hold my boa" and they dissappeared into the dressing room to try on stacks of hippie girl stuff. So I wandered the store kilted with the boa around my neck for about a half hour. Folks knew Pride was in town...and there was an obvious drag queen hanging around the store outside....the boa actually went a little better with the red Fraser tartan kilt I was wearing...but I still got a lot of strange looks....fortunately, no comments.

    Ham,

Let me make a phone call or two - I'm pretty sure there is a store in downtown DC (Washington) that carries the rainbow boa's.

    Love the Boa Ron

I have a black denim UK, it great for jamming in a car, never seems to look wrinkled, always looks good. Wish I had a blue demim, but am being optimistic about my weight and not ordering until it get down.

Many thanks, Dee, but I am sure they MUST be available over here, especially with Pride events cropping up all over the place during the summer months. If all else fails, I'll let you know. Actually, Ron provided two or three links to suppliers, but I cannot find them now! Like my photos - which are disappearing within 24 hours of my posting them here.

On a side note: I think it's so wonderful that so many of you straight guys can go along to the 'Pride' events with your families and have such fun. Well done, and thank you.

Ooooops! Sorry Ron. Another 'senior' moment ....... put it down to the heat. We're in the midst of a heat wave (90ºF a few miles up the road yesterday) and we are just NOT used to it. No air-conditioning either. Doubt I'll sleep tonight!! Worse: it's a necktie and jacket day later today as I'm on duty for The National Trust at Petworth House. Phew!!!

Oh, and just to prove that I DO have the nerve to wear my Rainbow kilt in public:

Now, that's enough of me in this thread. It IS Ron's after all. Sorry Ron for the highjack.
