    MacHummel,

    Well done, indeed.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

Isn't it amazing how kids respond when someone really tries to reach out and offers to teach? Good job, MacHummel!

Sometimes the blossoms come up in the most unlikely places, you know?

I remember the Cosmetology student I had in biology class, who took the basic chemistry I taught her. She got inspired by something I said and now she works in the formulations group for Redken.

    You just never know.....

And at the most unlikely times - I've been teaching long enough to understand that some flowers bloom long after you are done tending that particular garden... but I digress from the point at hand - sorry.

    It's refreshing

Over the years I have seen similar instances - not too often but enough to help keep the faith. Without it I would have been gone from the profession decades ago. Good for you. Good for her.

    Cheers! Bill
