I remember the Cosmetology student I had in biology class, who took the basic chemistry I taught her. She got inspired by something I said and now she works in the formulations group for Redken.

Thank you for all the nice comments the young lady made a machine stiched kilt she promised to send me pics for me to show all of you, and yes Ron when business booms I plan to put her to work.
I wish their were teachers like yerself at suwannee high school, the art teachers were the only ones that was cool with me wearing the kilt and a few of the administrators...
Over the years I have seen similar instances - not too often but enough to help keep the faith. Without it I would have been gone from the profession decades ago. Good for you. Good for her.
