My first was a great kilt of no particular tartan. It's a lovely wool/poly blend (70/30 if I remember correctly) in a brown, tan, and white pattern. Nine yards, pleated fresh every morning.

My first was a khaki UK Mocker. It introduced me to the world of kilts. I'd seen them at the Oregon Country Fair and privately lusted after one. Last year, I got one.

My first kilt was a UK Camo Original. August 3, 2004. By August 4, 2005 I'd gone full time kilted. By today, I own 39 kilts, three of which are in que at USA Kilts.
Chose the Camo thinking it would reduce hassles in my small redneck town. Also was a lighter fabric for the summer heat. Still a favorite kilt. Now have 14 UKs. "Scottish Jeans"
This was probably my first kilt pic. Taken down in Glen Canyon at Petroglyph Beach on the Colorado River.
