Dave and anyone else coming from the North. If you take White's Ferry across the Potomac River you end up real close to the Festival. Just a differnt ride to where you are going. Nice place for emergency ice cream stop. http://www.mcmullans.org/canal/whites_ferry.htm
PS you do not have to carry a cell phone super glue it in place of kilt pin.

It's a lot easier for me to come straight down US15, as it runs from Frederick to Leesburg. I'm familiar with White's Ferry though. I been there a few times while hiking the canal.

White's Ferry would be a good option from Silver Spring, or any of the Maryland side of DC. You would take MD 28 West at Rockville. I'm afraid I don't remember the road to turn on to get to White's Ferry. That will take you into Virginia just north of Leesburg on US 15. Or you could take 28 all the way to where it meets 15 at Point of Rocks, then go south into VA.
From the southern side, I would take route 7 to Leesburg, then US 15 North around the bypass to the festival.

From the Festival website http://www.pcfest.org/directions.html
From Montgomery County:
Take Route 28 West to Route 107 (White's Ferry Road) to White's Ferry. The Fee for the ferry is $2.50. Continue White's Ferry Road to Route 15 South. Turn left towards Leesburg. Stay on 15/7. Tutt Lane is on the right immediately before the intersection with Business 15. Turn onto Tutt Lane and follow parking directions.
Last time I went, the state police were right there directing traffic.

Good pics Randy. Looks like Dee was in Ireland's National, you were in a SWK Nightstalker, and JerMc was in Scottish National. Did I get it right?
