Saturdee wus the annual festival called "Guid Nychburris".... Dumfries hae been a "Royal Burgh" since 1186 ... the charter wuz granted by King Robert III ... we an a' oor guests came oot tae watch them trot by....
later... we went oop the toon fur the pairty... an tae hae lunch in the Globe Inn.... here we arr in the toon centre...
the "Queen Of The South" is crooned during Guid Nychburris.... thot's here in the white & red dress... oh, an the croon!
the band oanstage is called "Koda"... several accordians... even maire violins... a piper... drums... and a singer... an they arr a' weans! they arr pretty guid tae!
then we where aff tae the pub "Robert The Bruce"... where ai met this kiltie!
then aff tae the pub "The Last Post"... where ai ran intae these fellas... notice the yin fella hae orange lips... thot's whit "Irn Bru WKD" daes tae ya! (it's Irn Bru an vodka)
then back tae oor hoose tae watch the parade....
a local weddin shop had a float tae... note the kilted groom....
