I like how it appears more "bottom-heavy." It seems most kilt pins are wider at the top, and come to a point at the bottom. (I'm sure there's some sort of tradition involving not having a sword pointed towards your heart)
But I've noticed that most non-sword kilt pins seem to follow that quasi-inverted triangle look.
This however, is a nice change. I thought it was a modified fluer-de-lis, until Robin was kind enough to post the Breton flag.
Ham, can I be you when I grow up?
