A new utilikiltarian
Just a brief hello from a new member of the utilikilt clan. Decided to make the plunge after seeing a number of people wearing UKs at a recent Celtic fair. I've always wanted a kilt (only wore one once before while stationed in Scotland) and this seemed the most practical (albeit admittedly nontraditional) way to go. Wore it today to a folk music festival, will have to come up with more occasions soon. Perhaps the local 4th of July parade?
Best regards,
Jake

Greetings, Jake!
Glad you found us. If you can make it down to Belmont next Friday evening you should find a rabble of kilties drinking beer. Check the "Kilt Nights" section. Hope to meet you there.

Greetings Kent,
I had taken note of the monthly Belmont gathering with some interest. How many people of the kilted persuasion usually attend?
Best regards,
Jake

Greetings, Jake, and welcome to the assylum.
To get you thinking about occasions to wear your new UK, I thought maybe starting a list would be helpful:
- Drinks with friends
- Trips to the grocery store
- Attending the cineplex
- The next ball game
- Filling your fuel tank
- Your next date
- Weekend in wine country
See how easy that is?
Regards,

And another welcome from Scotland, Monkey@arms.
Whereabouts were you stationed in Scotland?
