I have a Casual from USA Kilts and I love it, especially during the summer down here in Florida (very hot and humid). USAK's workmanship and customer service are very good. USAK kilts are custom made for the buyer. Rocky and Kelly try hard to give you what you want.
Poly viscose is a woven 11-ounce material with a Telfon coating to resist staining and is machine washable. Don't use fabric softener. Dry Cleaning pv is not advised because this will remove the pv's Telfon coating.
Being a lightweight material, it doesn't have the body and wrinkle resistence of 13 ounce (mediumweight) or 16 ounce (heavyweight) wool. However, pv doesn't wrinkle or wear as easily as other man-made materials, like acrylic. Also, pv is smoother to the touch (less scratchy) than wool. PV seems to breathe better than wool and synthetic materials, so it will keep you cooler during the summer months.
