I saw one of the Sportkilt Premium kilts at the SK booth. It wasnt a bad looking kilt at all. They had a solid black model, and the guys there said it came in several other solids and camo patterns. No tartans that they knew of.
It was a decent weight material, had a rear flap pocket, sewn down pleats, and belt loops. Standard velcro closure but no SK lion emblem where they normally have one.
It pretty much looks like a standard SK but with all the options already checked off for you. Price seemed about consistent with that as well.
Definately not a bad kilt for the money. It still doesnt seem as well made as a UK traditional for nearly the same money, nor a USAK casual from what I hear, but a MAJOR improvement from the normal SK offerings.
I'm sorry I didnt get a chance to see your leather kilt, I really wanted to check that one out. Sport Kilt is making some great improvements, I hope they keep it up.
