Kincardine and Embro

Two sets of games coming up in Ontario this holiday weekend.
Embro just south of Stratford...a single day event... the main feature is the tug of war. This happens on July 1st. It is also Embro's garage sale day so it will be very busy in that Hamlet.

It's right downtown in a park overlooking Lake Huron. The whole town gets behind this event. The month prior to the games, they have tartan Friday and you must have a piece of tartan or you will be fined a loonie.
Every Saturday night the main street is closed for a parade of townsfolk and pipers. At Sunset every evening there is a piper playing at the lighthouse.
The games will be on Friday, June 30 Sat July 1 Sunday July 2nd of this week.
There is also the British Car show as well

Robert, wish I could make it, looks like a great time! Got my SIL (sister in law) coming into town this weekend, though.

Although, maybe that is a good reason for a road trip. How far is it from Chicago??

Kilted Stuart and I will be there for sure we'll be helping out the Glengarry bhoys and on sunday my wife my daughter and I will be there for the afternoon.

Unfortunately, my universe is not multi-dimensional and I can only be in one place at a time. My wife and I decided that Embro would fit into our holiday weekend plans this year. Kincardine is a fun event though. Best of luck with your mobile kiltshop!
