    Scotty,

I'm sorry you've been bitten. We were at the beach for several days and had a good bit of rain but out on the Delaware shore we were out of the main line of fire. When we crossed the Bay Bridge (Chesapeake Bay) into Annapolis yesterday I tuned in the DC traffic on Sirius Radio to see whether we should take the Capitol Beltway north around, south around or go straight through DC into Virginia and home. I could not beleive the closed roads, tunnels and rail lines. Incredible.

We have not had any damage so far but our house backs up to a park with a large creek that drains into Lake Audubon. We are keeping an eye on it and calling to the kilted rain gods for clearing weather. As I type this I'm looking out of my office window at yet another approaching storm that is yellow and red on the radar. Ugh!

    Scotty,
Hope you guys are okay and almost dried out. I got home early yesterday and saw the news. That section of Rte 29 that was washed out, isn't it near your place? I'm at the high point in my neighborhood and three blocks from Rock Creek.

I have been wondering about all my friends and relatives in the area. Glad that you physically are OK, but I can relate to your frustration, and will say in all sincerity, ouch that hurts.

Maybe your insurance covers that. You should check, they may also pay for the clean up, or damaged items, less your deductable.
