    Well.....I will tell you that IF the kilt is just a wrap around piece of cloth AND the kilt pin gives me a better chance that things won't fly apart in some unique unforseen situation THEN I think that kilt pins are a good idea.

    Hey....we can have 50mph winds here in the desert during monsoon season....which is supposed to start THIS WEEK!

    Greetings from another new UK owner. There is a wealth of information to be found on this site, include some very helpful hints about going to the bathroom when wearing a kilt. From my reading I gather that a pin is just used to weigh down the outer apron flap of a traditional kilt, and isn't used to pin the two layers together.
