Good luck Steve.
Looking forward to seeing the new place, next time I visit the coast.

Steve,
You don't need luck. Your reputation and workmanship guarantees success. You'll need luck getting the space ready in time, though!
Congratulations.

Looks like the Ol' Coyote is ambling through your life. Think the new shop turning up so close is a stong positive omen.
Know you'll improvise, adapt, overcome.
Let the ladies do the heavy work though

Right across the street sounds good. Rewiring, repainting and so on is a PIA, but Ye Shall Overcome, I've no doubt.

Ah-ha! So it has come at last, Steve. Having visited your current premises I can envisage the new space you will have at your disposal. I am sure your skills will ensure a smooth transition - we won't even notice the join!
Thank you again for your 'phone call. I have not forgotten what we discussed. The delay is solely due to my still waiting for someone suitable to visit to help me with the measuring - I can hardly ask my elderly spinster neighbours, or the postman, to give a hand!

THAT could be a very awkward conversation. Do you invite the postman in for some tea first? Do you have to talk him through it? What will the reaction to having to measure the length be? this has "incident" written all over it. HAHAHA
