Different Hose Styles
I know a few people have shown some interest in tartan hose, checkered hose, and country socks in the past. I got an email this morning that Kiltstore is now selling some of these at an introductury rate. There are a few interesting styles on here. Ignore the few ladies versions and see if there is anything of interest for those that like something different than the standard Gaelic Themes hose (I like those personally). http://scotwebstore.com/browse/mens-...iew=1:offset=0
Of course I keep hearing great things about the Heritage hose at Freedom kilts as well. http://www.freedomkilts.com/store/product/5

That's a nice selection of kilt hose. Proper kilt hose looks better than sports socks because they have some weight to them. The patterned and cable knit hose have a more dressed up look. The clan tartan diced hose are a pretty sweet but out of my price range.
For myself, I'm quite taken with the Heritage (Freedom Kilts) hose. They can look casual or dressed up. They add a nice bit of bulk to the calf for those of us with skinny legs.
