Well, the party went really well and I wore the kilt with pride and every one of my mates were supportive and, although took the mickey out it initially, shut up about it when they saw how much attention I got from the girls at the party. And.......I bit the bullet and, halfway through the party, nipped into the bathroom and removed the speedos and spent the rest of the night 'regimental'. And I have to say, I found it fricken' great! Though I think I will more often that not wear the black speedos underneath my kilt in more larger, public gatherings, in smaller gatherings such as the party with friends and family I'll go regimental but not tell anyone. That way no awkward questions and no one trying to do an unasked kilt check.
Though, after the experience, I am wondering if I could try going regimental underneath my jeans now

Eh, jeans? What are jeans??? You still want to wear them after your kilted experience...?
Good to hear your night went well

That has to be the one question everyone wonders when one is wearing a kilt. I would imagine that just the thought there is no underwear could drive the ladies wild.
I would never wear speedos, that does not sound very comfortable at all. I have purchased black briefs which I think I will wear in some instances, perhaps comfortable thongs (yes, they do exist) in others.
However, when I am at home alone or going for late night neighborhood walks alone comfort is the primary priority. :-) I am really looking forward to when it gets cold and windy here in the desert at night.
