Flew to Glenrothes Fife Airport for lunch with another member of the Romeo Bravo group. Me beside Romeo Bravo at Glenrothes. Black Watch acrylllic kilt from Union Kilts. Edinburgh from the south. The large shopping mall near the bottom of the picture is Cameron Toll, while the hills are Arthur's Seat and the Salisbury Crags situated within Holyrood Park. In the distance at top of picture is the port of Leith where the Royal Yacht Britannia is now permanently docked and beyond the Forth estuary is the Kingdom of Fife where we are bound. Nice images! I was just by Murrayfield, a couple of days ago. I wasn't nearly so high, as the train just wouldn't develop enough lift. I envy you the pilot's license.

I'm not sure what I like best, the aerial photos, the plane, or the Kilt. They all look awesome!

The chartreuse jacket looks good with the kilt too. (A new fashion trend perhaps! ) Seriously though... great pics and storey.
In today's post I received a CD from my flying companion who managed to take quite a lot of photos on the way back from Glenrothes, when it was my turn to fly the 'plane. Prior to departure, Glenrothes; note X-marks kilt pin. Just a glimpse of my kilt in the bottom left corner of this cockpit view. I decided to head further east along the Fife coast, to avoid Edinburgh Airport; here is Methil. Over the Firth of Forth - left to right the islands are Craigleith; Lamb and Fidra. Fidra is the dryest place in Scotland. North Berwick Melrose Hawick, my home town. Landing at Carlisle Airport
