If a group of kilties is a "rabble", what do you call a group of through-hikers who have ripened for three months? Anyway, I ran into a bunch of the latter at Carson Pass around 5:30 pm on Saturday, July 8th. Three trail-names I remember are Token Citizen, Lawn Ornament, and Go-Go Girl, but the picture below captured all but one who were there.

They said they would be at Echo Summit the next day and probably take a couple rest days at Lake Tahoe.
I was at Carson Pass as a volunteer helper for the 26th annual "Tour of the California Alps: The Death Ride" bicycling event. This is probably as close as I'll get to meeting you because I won't be returning to Lake Tahoe until the August 5th Kilt Camp. Glad to hear you made it through the snows.
