I have let myself be persuaded to buy a bordeaux/wine-coloured jacket & waistcoat.
But none of my kilts will go with these splendid new accoutrments.

I'm thinking the only safe tartan to accompany such a colour would be one of those grey-black tartans mentioned recently (or was it on another forum?).
I seem to remeber seeing a picture of one with a deep red line that might well match my jacket.

Does anyone know what these new tartans are called? -- and who makes them?

Martin, who hardly ever wears a jacket and is wondering why on earth he bought this one!
