You don't suppose it's the other way around, maybe? That guys with a propensity to wear kilts have a thing for red heads? My first love interest--I was, oh, maybe 8 or so--was a redhead, but she had the good foresight to not show the slightest bit of interest in me.
Earlier this year as I was driving to work, having turned off the freeway onto 7th Street, I nearly drove off the road when I saw someone walking along the sidewalk sporting three of my favorite things in a person, including a thick mane of nearly waist length, red-orange hair.

Techbear, have you heard "March of the Cambreadth"? Not redhead related, except it too is sung by Heather Alexander.

Black Jack's Lady
Possibly based on Anne Bonny, Mary Read and "Calico Jack" Rackham.

One of my favorites, along with many, MANY filk versions. I particularly like "The Purple Dinosaur of Cambreath", which is about Barney's plans to take over the world, and "The Zerg on Cambreath" based on the online game "Dark Age of Camelot", wherein Hibernia and Midgard invade Albion in force and attempt to take Cambreath Keep. Then there is the classic filk about the Chinese restaurant cook who goes insane and starts demanding, "How many things can we make fry?!"

That's funny. Three of the girls I dated prior to my wife were red heads. I never looked for them, I prefer dark hair. Just seemed to work out like that.
I have sandy hair and my wife the same. But when my daughter was born, guess what? Red hair just like her grandmother...

I have always had a weakness for redheads. My first wife was one.
A pretty redhead still stops me in my tracks, but I'm married to a nice, sensible brunette.

Come to think of it, my last girlfriend was also a redhead.
Lovely young lady, she was, with more insight than I will ever hope to possess. Now I remember that the first Scottish festival I ever attended was with her.
