Panache, I believe David is on holidays for another week or two. I remember him mentioning it, but I could be wrong.

The only order I'm waiting for is for 8 yards of macewen muted tartan.
Then I'm waiting for myself to stop being lazy, to make two kilts for myself (MacFarlane and MacEwen muted)

Still waiting on the MacEwen (Should be here in about two weeks!) and I finished the MacFarlane about a week ago.

Jonesing a brown sporran, belt and sporran stap, Rose cap badge, and a glengarry.
I have material for 2 kilts but will need to wait for funds to have them made up.

I wasting away in Jonestown for my Argyle Tweed Jacket I won on Ebay last week. I thought it might be here today. He shipped in Priority USPS on Saturday from Wisconsin to New Mexico. So, I figured today may be a bit optimistic. I'm sure it will be here tomorrow though. I'm also waiting for a pair of grey kilt hose from Hamilton Dry Goods (thanks for the tip Cavscout!) And last, but certainly not least, I'm waiting on my "made in Ireland" Irish Tweed cap. Whew, I may die yet. hehe.

Jonesing for my 9 yard MacTavish (1439 - the tartan in the avatar) hand made tank.
Five weeks and counting. The wool should be woven soon......

I get up from the sitting on the curb on the corner of Jones St. and Kilt Ave. I wave goodbye to all the nice fellows who have been sitting next me helping me pass the the time. I walk away with my head held high and a spring in my step. But suddenly I stop and turn. Those good fellows wave again and I regard them with a long stare. I turn about and continue on my way. I have my kilt pin, I have my sporran, I even have my beautiful 5 yard knife pleated 16 oz. kilt. But some how, some way...I just know I'm destined to return to sit on the curb at the corner of Jones St. and Kilt. Ave.
Thus the thread ends.....for now

Colin,
Thanks for the information. I was wondering why I didn't hear back for him. When I inquired about the price of a particular sporran last month he got back to me immediately. Now I can afford it, I'm just hoping he still has it.
Cheers

Dancing about at the corner of Jones St. and Kilt Ave.
YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEE!
Just got an email from Matt Newsome to say my Galbraith Ancient 16oz. 5 yard knife pleated kilt is finished and will be mailed in the morning! It will be here Friday, just in time for me to wear to Saturday's Highland Games in Felton, CA and later that evening to my first actual Scottish Country Dance in Cupertino!*
I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.
Can't wait to wear it with my lovely Freelander and my X Marks the Scot kilt pin and another accessory I finished today!
Cheers Everyone!
* I only have had 4 classes with the Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess so we are both a little nervous about going to our first dance.
