    It looks to me like they are wearing the Sutherland tartan.

    I like the officer in #2 better. The dark hose, pulled up, look sharp and more in keeping with the uniform.

    The officer in #1, with the hose pushed down, looks too casual for being on-duty. To me, the hose-pushed-down look is a casual, wear to the pub, go for a walkabout, kind of look. Rather like the equivalent of wearing your shirt untucked. Loose, casual and comfy. For an officer on duty, I would have worn them pulled up.

    And one last thing -- if you wear your hose pushed down, please no garter flashes!

    Kudos to the City of Flagstaff for allowing their officers to "blend" into the event.

    The sporran on the first officer looks like a bit of overkill with all the pouches on his belt. Still, I guess he still needed somewhere to put his keys and wallet.

    Looked at my pics of the Long's Peak games in Estes Park last night. Over 6 yeras of pics and I couldn't find any of the police officers. I'll have to make sure I get several this year.

    Yes, it is the sutherland tartan (muted to be exact). I have the EXACT same one on today!
