    Thanks Darrell,

That explains the "David...somebody" sign on the booth with Buzz Kidder's logo.

I'm a huge advocate for Wal Mart hats, as the price is almost nothing and they seem last forever. I'm just pumped when I can find one to fit me (I wear a 7 7/8 - 8 in a baseballl cap!)
The Buzz Kidders are not bad for the money. That 10 oz army duck is pretty rugged stuff. I've go 3 of them and enjoy them for casual wear. In fact, I'll be wearing my navy blue tomorrow. The salesperson you encountered was not very well informed. As you already know, these are traditional style and worn higher on the waist.

Hey Ron (and anybody else who wants to chime in), what do you think of the BK's? I have come across a number of sites that re-sell them and wonder if they are worth a look. They seem to be fairly rugged, but how are they for upkeep? The material seems like it would get wrinkled fairly quickly and need ironing too often to suit me.

    HAHAHA!! Welcome to the Clan.

I did the samething before. I had to wait for my first UK, because I ordered it off the internet and I had to wait 6-8 weeks for it. For my second one, I picked up the phone and ordered one that they have in stock. My third was one off the Dent and Scratch list and I got it within a week.

    Oh....I could never survive that!

The two they are making for me I ordered about a week ago and they said I should have them in four weeks. I thought that was awfully quick. However, I sort of said yeah....whatever.....I still want those but tell me what you have in stock that you can send out to me now.
