No, just weeknights and weekends. That's all. It's fun wearing one at home and my cats like to curl up on it and go to sleep.

The fact of the matter is, I am just exploring. I want to see what is out there and what I might like.

By the way....what happened to the corduroy kilts on the Utilikilts web site??? I was going to order one when it got closer to winter and now I can't find them!!!

That's a very good question. I'd give them a call. I've never ordered through their site and always called. As a result of this, I've had my UKs in a few days as opposed to the 8+ weeks others have been waiting.

I have one Stillwater standard and the fabric is just so lightweight that I'm not happy with it. The fabric is rough also. Anyway, I like to feel like I'm really wearing something.
Myself, I prefer tartan. BUT, I am also a Scottish fanatic, so it fits.

 Too bad about the Stillwater
. I like kilts with weight too (a 4 yarder box in 16 oz is just perfect and balanced).
Maybe, a good "winter"/"cool weather" kilt would be one of Matt Newsome's tweed specials, found at:

I can sympathize. I have two UKs that I purchased and wear frequently, a UK workman's from working an event last month and a blue denim UK original I ordered at the beginning of June. In addition, I am on the waiting list to get a workman's in the white fabric (if they don't run out of it by the time my name get to the top) and two vouchers from the last event I worked at, good for a free Original or Mocker each. I'm holding on to the vouchers until they have relocated to downtown Seattle in September; by then I will have lost more weight and will need a smaller size anyway. Assuming, of course, that they have anything on the shelves.

I'm sitting here reading before class wearing my SWK Black Stewart. It's a 34" waist and the drop is 24". It fit's great for a sub $70 price. It's perfect for today it's over 100 which is rare for our altitude here in AZ. Of course I like buckles and a more traditional kilt. I wore it yesterday. I posted some pictures yesterday. Gotta go; school time. O'Neille

The only thing keeping me from ordering more kilts is the lack of funds right now. I am trying to figure out how I can make one kilt work for at least three or four days of the week. I'd like to wear them everyday, but until I get at least two more, I don't think it's practical.

I am used to Utilikilts. They are easy to put on, they have some substance to them, and they are comfortable.

I bought the Stillwater Standard Nightstalker and these are the things I didn't like:

 1. Fabric feels rough
 2. Fabric feels lightweight
 3. Kind of weird putting it on but the various straps are standard on many kilts
 4. I need a sporran which I knew beforehand but just getting "suited up" with all the straps and chains and whatever seems like such an ordeal!

I don't know - it might just take some getting used to. It is hanging in the closet and I just don't know what to think. I much prefer the heavier poly/cotton blends but that's just me.

I have one Utilikilt original I love and one StillWater kilt that I'm not crazy about.

Then I ordered two more UK originals and one Mocker.

Then last night I ordered a denim Union kilt.

Now this morning I ordered an Amerikilt.

When does this craziness end? It's almost like I"m stuck in some sort of kilt ordering loop.

Last night I was going to bed and I said, "Well, before I go to bed, I MUST order a kilt!"

Then this morning I said, "Well, it's a new day - time to order a kilt!"

I'm going to end up with more kilts than I have pants. I'll have all these kilts hanging in my closet and I'm going to ask myself what in the world did you do?

Well....now that I have two kilts and a whopping 5 more on order I must stop. This is it....no more kilts this year.
