Irish kilt
So after weeks of dragging my feet and being undecisive, I've took the plunge and ordered a Stillwater kilt. I got a 100% wool saffron Irish kilt. See, I'm half Irish, and I wanted an Irish kilt that I could wear casually (but not a casual kilt) so I thought this would be perfect!
To go with it, I also got a black belt with a black sporran and grey Heritage Hose from Freedom Kilts. I wanted saffron flashes, but SWK didn't have any, so I'll either find matching fabric and make them myself, or pray that they have them for sale in the future.
Photos, of course, will be posted ASAP.
EDIT: This post put me to 50 threads! I'm now in the Kilted Regiment!!!

Nice work and bring on the pics. I've been thinking about getting a saffron for a while. Hope it serves you well.
These guys are in Australia but are very helpful if you have trouble getting some locally made flashes in saffron. The site could use some work but their service is excellent. I'd call them and ask directly. http://www.allthingstartan.com.au/form.php

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures as well. I've been dragging my feet as well on the next kilt. I just bought the buzz kidder canvas last weekend at the Flagstaff games. But, lucky me, got the go ahead from the wife for another already! WOOHOO! So, I think I'll be calling Mr. Rocky tomorrow to see about getting an Ireland's National in my size off the peg. I'm also a fan of the matching flashes. SO, I'll need to inquire in that as they don't list tartan flashes on the site. Here's hoping I've a lot of Irish from my mother's side (Kern/McKern amongst others.) So, I definately want an Irish tartan to celebrate that as well.
Oh and the Heritaaaaaaaaage hose!!!!!! SOME DAY! Those look absolutely luxurious!!
