    2. Fabric feels lightweight
    3. Kind of weird putting it on but the various straps are standard on many kilts
    4. I need a sporran which I knew beforehand but just getting "suited up" with all the straps and chains and whatever seems like such an ordeal!

I don't know - it might just take some getting used to. It is hanging in the closet and I just don't know what to think. I much prefer the heavier poly/cotton blends but that's just me.
This reminds of one of the great things about kilts- there's a style for everyone. My first kilt was a Workmans UK and I love it. But, I personaly prefer the traditional fit over the on the hip UKs. Don't worry about it, you'll find a style you like.

Okay....well....I wore my new Utilikilts Mocker to church today and I simply LOVE it! If this is what "getting dressed up" is all about then I want to get dressed up every day!

So....I just got on the web and ordered three more so I will have all four colors.

    So I will have:

    4 UK Mockers
    3 UK Originals
    1 Union Kilts Denim
    1 Amerikilts kahki

.....and a partridge in a pear tree.....

Now....this is it! No more kilts! Honest!

Well....before I discovered kilts I was planning to start working on paying off some debt.

That project has been temporarily put on hold.

I figure the debt will still be there waiting for me when I'm done buying kilts, so what's the hurry?

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

Thankfully, I was able to stop when I had 12 kilts in my closet.

It seemed like a nice round number

One of the last kilts I ordered was a soft tan corduroy UK for cold winter night walks - I really like it.
