Kilt lost battle with tree

And here I am wanting to see pictures! SWK's are pretty durable under normal wear. I would like to see what one looks like after this day's adventures. Can you post some pics? Sorry that you have lost the use of a kilt, but if it had to be any kilt, at least it was a SWK. If you ordered a replacement today (you did, didn't you?), you will have it Tuesday or Wednesday before you have a chance to miss the injured one!

See my post under traditional kilts to see what I'm consoling myself with. I haven't decided what I'm going 4 wheeling with in the future I may have to get a; gulp "canvas" kilt. I like to dress well and haven't gone to the casual extreme yet. I guess I just have to think of it as expensive short jeans. Here is a picture of the casualty.

Just trim off the rough edges and you'll have a kilt with character. You would still have a kilt to wear when you don't want to risk a good one.

I've done this after several of mine got slightly mangled at work.

Hey that's not too bad! Gives the kilt some character. Leave it as is, or cut around the hem in a ragged fashion to make it look intentional. Still a nice tartan, and I am going to see about ordering one. Just have to decide, USAK or SWK, USAK or SWK, USAK or SWK, USAK or SWK, USAK or SWK, USAK or SW... Oh, are you still here? Good Ideas, I will just leave it and use it with my other ratty clothes in the shop. Think aircraft riveting kilt, oil change kilt, painting kilt. New category of kilt will be the "rat kilt"! As a prize to anyone that posts a "rat kilt" picture in use; I'll send them an Xmarks sticker. I printed up a bunch on clear label material and they look real cool. O'Neille
