Oh, yeah. I saw that too. I'm trying to figure out where I can cut back to save $1,200.

I've seen his work in person and he does do excellent work, just way out of my price range.

Mike Butler at AmeriKilt has the best brown kilt belts. Great quality and value. 2 1/4 " wide I believe. Come with plain buckle but if you talk to him I'm sure his beltmaker can hang the hardware you need.

    Everyone,

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I think I'll try Colin's suggestion of the Kilt Store.

    Cheers

I own two of his belts, and my wife has one of the journals. Rudi is a great guy and does really good work. The only real problem with the lichfield, etc belts is that they ar eonly 1.5 incehes wide. They are perfect for a casual (wear it on the hips) type kilts, but they don't look as great with the highwaisted traditionals, believe me I have tried

again though, great belts for casual kilts and really good products. I have ordered from Rudi a numbe rof times and have always been really happy with the service and products.

For a great brown daywear kilt belt, I recommend this tool belt from Lowe's. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...5-L&lpage=none

You might also check ebay. Just saw a brown kilt belt (no buckle) for $24USD..."buy it now" price.
