Somewhere on here - think on the USA Kilts forum - is my comparison between SportKilts and USA Kilts Casual. The USA Kilt is the hands down winner. More pleats...less expensive after you add up all the SK options.

I waited MUCH too long before ordering my first USA Kilts casual...now I have four of them with six on order....and three semi-traditionals.

Riverkilt, your comparison was a great help. I've heard a lot of criticism of the SK as junk, or for sports/swimming/around the house/yardwork only. I think the USAK casual will be by far the better value in terms of actual cost, quality and appearance.

Blu, I know what you mean. As far as "affording it", I can, but I think that for now a USAK casual is a better choice for me, as I can surely afford to get the USAK Semi-trad in the next few months as well, and the casual will be a bit more versatile for now.

I'm in the mood for acquiring kilts . . .
