Scots in Glacier...
This thread made me think of Glacier's Scottish Connection: Duncan McDonald, the son of a Scots Hudson's Bay Company trader and a Native American woman. McDonald Lake is named for him.
McDonald's story is told by James Hunter in "Scottish Highlanders, Indian Peoples" (also titled "Glencoe and the Indians" in Scotland):
